Mother Ichiji

A gentle, calm, ideal mother.

First appearance: Volume 5 of the original manga.

The original “Great Angel of Shimokitazawa.”

The way she often brings her hand to her face is girlish and adorable.

This smile is like spring sunshine.

Possesses the nerve to face even a rebellious daughter without flinching.

A truly saintly figure in every sense of the word. Understanding this person massively deepens your insight into the Ijichi sisters, so if you're a Nijika or Seika fan, go read Volume 5 — no questions asked, even if you're on your deathbed.
