The 10th of December is
The day of the Nobel Prize Award Ceremony!
The award ceremony is held on this day because it's the anniversary of Dr. Alfred Nobel's death!
It is said that the award money for the Nobel Prize amounts to 160 million yen, and it is by law exempt of income taxes and other forms of taxation. How many cucumbers does this amount to?Kawashiro Nitori
Holder of the Nobel Prize in Chemistry
1 cucumber costs 70 yen, therefore
1 Nobel Prize
would amount to
2 285 714 cucumbers
So... would buying 2 285 714 cucumbers be the same as winning a Nobel Prize!?
