Dusk was gathering across the sandy beach, mingling light with darkness. The waves were low, as if groveling, and even the sea breeze had gone quiet as the ruler of the Round Table took a leisurely walk. Her mind wandering, she realized she had never been to the seaside before, even though Camelot had access to the sea. Watching the waves break on the shore and retreat only to come back again, she thought about her past and her future. "It is quite pleasant here, I must admit."
