I wake up to a new day.

"You there. It's dangerous to be in a place like this."

This is a distant countryside. The blue skies are like a deep ocean across this vast field of grass, where he met a sorceress. Carelessly tripping over a rock, I didn't know who she was or how I even tripped over.

"I am Aozaki Aoko. And you are?"

Time stood still, and then started moving again. My heart, that was white as plaster, somehow took in color again. My eyes closed, opened, and saw everything again.

The sorceress was gone by then, remaining only in my memories. The fields could go forever and forever. I dream of returning to this grassy field and, eventually, meeting her again.

This was the story which unfolded in the countryside. It's not related to who inhabits it now. Two lives, connected by tripping over a rock. A miraculous reunion.

Now then, the story of the boy just begins.
