It's about faking Ran-tan's family register.

It's about faking Ran-tan's family register.

It's great that her vengeance has been dissolved, and officially turned into a ghost, but...

With the public not knowing the existence of youkai, we're missing something for youkais to live covertly among humans. We're missing proof of personal existence... So if we wanted to, we're allowed to fake our family register under the table.

However, the public will find out that something is suspicious if a family unnaturally grows in a short period of time, so I want to avoid using the last name, Ujikintoki.

Then, how about her former family register? She was originally human, so her register will be real, wont it?

That's not impossible, but thinking about her bereaved family...

Even when she died twenty years ago yet her parents are still living?

Man, I didn't think it would lead to a such bothersome task.

I shouldn't have taken custody of her for fun.

This person isn't honest to herself.

...Ran-chan, it's okay to get angry right now.

In my older sister's case, didn't you just pick a name out for yourself?

Can she choose her own name as she pleases?

No... In most cases, that's fine, but...

Ran-tan's inner and outer looks are both a child. The problem is needing a guardian.

She can enter my blood-lineage if she wants, but there's the danger of her getting targeted. That's why your last name is Ujikintoki.

Humans, even if a thousand years pass by, their tiresome aspect don't change.

I heard that the vengeful ghost-chan that Seren took custody of has recovered!

Don't say that to me.

E-Elza... Don't try to do weird things to my friend.

I won't do that. Just came to enjoy looking at her...

Hm? Seren, what's wrong?

All right! Starting from today, your name is Ran Straherz!

Wha? What!?

And she is now your half-sister!

The Spirit of Perversity Isn't Good at Concealing Its Embarrassment.

Ahh, As It Stands, I'm Going to Explain What Just Happened

Was it my fault?

Nope
