The pathway leading to the main street. It's not that I don't like people, but when I find a path with no one else on it, I feel like I've lucked out a little. The stone pavement, as if it would burn to step on, shone a dazzling white that I had to squint at. No where to be found and yet being everywhere, the voices of the cicadas dominated my ears.

This sky, it's hard to believe that later it would dye into crimson. This season, this blueness, feels like it will last a long long while. It's a little early to sink into sentimentality. My day off has just begun.
