2003/06/28 The day before Takarazuka Kinen

The man who was said to have bet a huge sum of money on one unspectacular horse, Hishi Miracle.

It was a sum of 12.22 million yen

Eyewitness reports stated "He was a middle-aged man with the air of a salaryman"

Because of the huge sum of money, Hishi Miracle temporarily became the number one favourite (in the end, it was the 6th favourite at 16.3:1 odds)

And so with Hishi Miracle's splendid victory at the Takarazuka Kinen, that 12.22 million yen at 16.3:1 odds became... Around 200 million payout

Well, while this legendary rumour is known as Uncle Miracle but,

It doesn't seem like he's the kind of guy who's fixated only on Hishi Miracle

YOU ARE MIRACLE

It's said that the 12.22 million yen amount,

Was obtained when he bet 1.3 million yen on Agnes Digital at the Yasuda Kinen.

Furthermore, rumour has it that the 1.3 million was made by betting 500 thousand on Neo Universe to win (2.6:1 odds)

And that came from betting 50000 yen on Win Kluger to win (26:1 odds), so the story goes.

Uncle Digital?

Uncle NeoUni?

Exceed the speed of light!

In the end, Uncle Miracle himself has not come forward, so these are merely speculations...

Just know that the human behind the legend of betting huge sums of money exists
