Thank you for reading "Modern Konosuba". Before I knew it, a year has passed since this story I started drawing just for fun started, and I have no idea how long it'll keep going. In fact, I worry if I can even wrap up the story, as I spend my days drawing and eagerly anticipating all of your reactions. So, a theme with Modern Konosuba has become how to bring the established setting and story from the original work into the modern age, and how to resolve the conflicts between the modern world and the fantasy world from a plot perspective. Most of the focus so far has been on Aqua. Having been reincarnated in modern times, Aqua has lost all of her dignity and affection as a goddess, and the same Aqua who always mocked Kazuma for being a "hikiNEET" in the other world has now become an exceptionally bad hikiNEET herself. What will happen to Aqua from now on, and what further tragedy will fall upon Kazuma and the others as a result of that fire? Please look forward to finding out. And now we've turned the clock back roughly two years, setting the middle school days as our stage. Megumin has been pretty quiet so far, after escaping out of her chuunibyou, but I think she's going to go wild for a bit now. Megumin claimed Kazuma pretty quickly in the original series, but here, her romantic feelings haven't been revealed yet. What might have happened to her? Please don't miss it.
