▷ Job hunting vol. Despite her confinement at home having been meant to be a kind of punishment, after seeing Aqua take to enjoying her self-indulgent shut-in life like a fish to water, her parents were hit even harder. At this time, Aqua and Kazuma were both hooked on MMOs and would often play together, but after entering his third year of middle school, Kazuma said he "wanted to focus on his entrance exams" and graduated from MMOs. One year later, concerned about the situation, her parents told her they "wish she'd start working soon", and Aqua began job-hunting with thoroughly disastrous results. She once again justified herself with tortured logic such as "It's not my fault it's not working out. It's the world's fault nothing is going well," but this statement only brought down the wrath of her parents who had been abundantly patient with her, and she was thrown out of the house despite her desperate protests.
