▷ High school vol. Unlike with middle school, where compulsory education meant she could scrape by anyhow, in high school, studying became something she couldn't ignore and, eventually, justifying herself by claiming "this studying won't do her any good in the future", she began skipping school. When she entered her second year of high school, at the encouragement of a kouhai, she began working part-time at an izakaya, where her skill for party tricks gained her lots of popularity overnight and she would spend days and nights in drunken merrymaking. But, when word of this got to the school, along with her unbridled underaged drinking, she was expelled and the place went out of business too. Her parents, who had been plagued by all kinds of troubles ever since she was a child, pleaded in tears with her to "just stay put at home", and Aqua spent the following two years as a shut-in.
