Sea-dwelling monsters that originally bore shells, that were discarded as an evolutionary process as a necessity to show off more of their body to human men. In addition to crawling on the sea floor, they can move through the sea as if floating by shaking the frilly parts of their body. Their bodies are soft enough to sink into when you touch them, and their demeanor is similarly gentle and soft. Their bodies have colored fins, and almost like elegant women in dresses, they show off their varying beautiful colors and patterns, shaking their fins to attract viewers. They even catch the attention of women, and dresses imitating their appearance are common even among human noblewomen.

The feelers on their head sense the presence of men, and unconsciously lead them towards the men, sometimes causing them to come out on solid ground. However, they themselves are quite gentle, and even if they may encounter a man and come in direct contact, they will treat him with kindness and won't attack him.
