Furude Rika (kanji and furigana [for pernounciation])

One of the three founding house of Hinamizawa, Furude family's last single child. Possess a mysterious power which, when she sees cute small animals, her soul brings herself back to life with realization of despair and abandoment. [[please correct second sentence as it doesn't feel right >_>]]

Shikahoneshi* have only population of 2000 people. Funded by Sonozaki family, Furude family and Ooyakeyukari** family, they are called as "Hinazawa big three families". Town was destroyed due to large scale disaster in shouwa 58 year (1983). *Not sure if there's a better romanization **Same; a better romanization probably exists without my knowledge.

The leading family that really funded Himazawa. Mion is eldest, followed by Shion, younger sister, who appeared later. Leading activist against construction of Himazawa dam, achieved the goal by convincing political officials. During the time, fought against Houjo family supported the construction of the dam; and lead the whole village to torture Houjo family, which is what lead to Satoko's situation today.
