I'm not feeling very well. I have bloating and nausea, and my lower back feels heavy and painful. I went to the hospital and got some medicine. Meanwhile, influenced by an acquaintance, I decided to buy a road bike. It has a strange frame shape without a seat tube—I'm not sure if it's for triathlons or TT. I added other parts like carbon baton wheels and aero handles that look like wings, making the bike an even more interesting shape. I thought I'd ride something unusual since I was at it. Before I knew it, I had five bikes, and my room is full of wheels. Even so, road bikes really move fast. It's a completely different vehicle from the light bikes I've ridden until now. Since it's light and rolls well, I can ride comfortably for two or three hours. Lately, it's been cool, so I've been enjoying wandering around places I could only go by car, narrow back alleys I couldn't enter before, and riverbanks where vehicles are prohibited. I feel quite happy riding alone around dawn, drinking coffee while watching people walking their dogs in a park or elderly people happily doing exercises. It'll be tough once it gets colder. For the DVD box package of [LAST EXILE], I thought I'd draw as many of the designed characters as possible, and it ended up being about 34 people. I felt like crying because it seemed like it would never end, no matter how much I did. It was my first time drawing so many in one picture, but it was surprisingly interesting once I did it. Although, I don't want to do it again for a while.
