My thanks to those of you who have kindly picked up this book. My name is Kara'agetarou.

Afterword

Haven't you ever been cleaning and had a receipt from when you went shopping ages ago or some such turn up? I just love scrutinizing such things.

You look back, thinking, "Aah, that's when I was buying stuff like this."

"Udon, beer, energy drinks, and...face masks? It's dated for December, I guess I'd caught a cold? But why the beer...?" That sort of thing. Memories from that time start coming back rather vividly.

Also, sometimes there's stuff written on memo pad scraps tucked inside packages sent from your folks' place, scribbled rather hurriedly by your parents. Such things are hardly important, but throwing them out felt wrong, so you'd hung on to them.

Using that sort of thing as a starting point, I drew this story.
