For my "Cute Magic User"-Hexafusion;
This one being the fusion of Shantae and Merry Nightmare

When I made the original design and lineart, I was afraid I had put too much of Merrys' and too little of Shantaes' design into it, so I tried to counterbalance that with choosing colors closer to Shantaes' look.
Whether making a design based on one character and adding colors from a second character should be the way to do proper fusions remains to be debatable.

This is my first "real" digital coloring so, naturally, it took way too long to do. The remaining 3 fusions probably won't go much faster, but at least I have a basic idea of what I'm doing now.

Coloring was done in Manga-Studio 5, which makes for some fancy screentone-effects.
