At the time, Battleship Nagato was sailing off the coast of Tosa. The next day, Nagato led the First Fleet of the Combined Fleet into Tokyo bay and aimed her main guns at the National Diet building. I was surprised to find out that I would be visiting the National Diet building for my social studies field trip to the capital. Back then I thought "this place is quite different from Hiroshima".
