That is a rumor that has been spreading quite a bit lately.

It is certainly not a pleasant thing to hear about.

It was likely spread by some coastal organization looking to tighten their control through fear.

I do not know much about living creatures, but...

Making a crab do that kind of disposal work seems rather difficult.

I think it would be much faster and easier to just use pigs since they are easy to raise and will eat everything down to the bone.
