福岡県の霊峰・宝満山から英彦山に至る７０キロの道のりは、日本三大修道場の一つ『峰入り古道』だった。
１３００年の歴史があったが廃仏毀釈で廃れ、現在も一部が定かでないという。

千手～秋月間の「八丁峠」で秋月街道と交差したらしいが、五玉神社から古処山へ至る区間が現在でもハッキリしていないらしい。
山伏の有志が復活に取り組んでいるという。

The 70-kilometer route from the sacred Mt. Homan in Fukuoka Prefecture to Mt. Hikosan was one of Japan's three great monastic routes, the "Mineiri Kodo" (Peak Pilgrimage Ancient Road).
It had a history of 1300 years, but fell into disuse during the anti-Buddhist movement, and even today, parts of it are unclear.

It seems to have intersected with the Akizuki Road at the "Hatcho Pass" between Senju and Akizuki, but the section from Gotama Shrine to Mt. Kosho is still unclear.
It is said that volunteers from the mountain ascetic community are working to revive it.
