yari
Other names: 槍
A yari is a long, straight-bladed spear commonly used by samurai and other warriors in feudal Japan.
There are several variants of yari; a one-bladed variant for foot soldiers, juumonji yari, a three-bladed variant (similar to partisan (weapon)) for cavalry, and katakama yari, a two-bladed variant.
