vegeta
Other names: ベジータ, ベジータ(ミニ)
A major character in the Dragon Ball franchise, first introduced in Dragon Ball Z. Vegeta made his appearance in chapter #204 "Sayonara, Son Goku", published in Weekly Shounen Jump magazine on January 7, 1989, seeking the wish-granting Dragon Balls to achieve immortality.
Prince of the Saiyan race, and the main villain of the Saiyan arc before becoming a reluctant ally of the heroes during the Frieza arc. His family and home world was destroyed by Frieza, and was forced to serve under his wing, until he met and fought against Son Goku.
He always refers to Goku by his Saiyan name "Kakarot", who he regarded as his rival. He later becomes a full ally of the Dragon Team after the Cell (Dragon Ball) arc, marries Bulma and together they had two children, Trunks (dragon ball) and Bra (dragon ball). Some of his most famous techniques are Big Bang Attack, Final Flash and Galick Gun.
Voiced by Horikawa Ryou in the Japanese version, Christopher Sabat in the Funimation English dub, and René GarcÃa in the Latin American Spanish dub.
