Other names: 改造巫女服, ミニスカ巫女, エロ巫女, 非传统巫女
A modernized or adapted miko outfit. Hakurei Reimu's and Yae Miko's outfits are prime examples of this.
Common features of nontraditional miko outfits include:
- Hakama short skirts – shortened to resemble modern short skirts, especially pleated skirts
- Sleeveless kimono tops, often with detached sleeves
- Thighhighs – especially white tabi ribbon-trimmed ones
- High-heeled (wedge or platform-heeled) sandals, often worn with above thighhighs
- Generally designs with elements taken from modern fashion like lolita, school uniforms, etc.
Nontraditional miko outfits should not be tagged miko, as that tag is for traditional miko outfits.
