nattou
Other names: 納豆
A Japanese food made of fermented soybeans, commonly eaten for breakfast. Stirring them produces lots of spiderweb-like strings.
A lot of people are disgusted by its strong smell and sticky texture, especially when it's cheaply made or no longer fresh.
