minwu

Other names: ミンウ

White Wizard of Fynn in Final Fantasy II. Main character in Soul of Rebirth.

Known as Ming-Wu in the Japanese version.

He is the namesake for some other characters in the FF series. The Elder of Mysidia of Final Fantasy IV was named Minwu (FF4) in the game's novelization.

His appearance is remarkably consistent between versions. His exposed midriff is present in every version (though absent in the PSP battle sprite). The WSC/PSP versions have a red cloak lining. The red gem in his turban was not on his original artwork but has been present since the Famicom battle sprite.

His skin tone is light in all his FFII sprites, but he has notably darker skin in other depictions.
