fallout
Other names: fallout, フォールアウト
A series of post-apocalypse role-playing games originally developed by Interplay in 1997, before being taken over by Bethesda Game Studios since 2004.
The series focuses on the events of what is left of the United States long after a global nuclear war. It takes place in a retro-futuristic alternate universe in which technology and aesthetics are reminiscent of the 1950s and satirizes the American exceptionalism characteristic of the era.
A live action television series based on the games, titled Fallout (prime video), was released in 2024.
