epilepsy_warning

A post containing visual elements that may cause epileptic seizures in susceptible people. While most commonly associated with rapid animation and flashing lights, certain still patterns can also potentially trigger seizures, particularly patterns that appear to move via optical illusion and high contrast repeating geometric patterns.

See asset #47834377 (click at your own risk) for an example of how some still patterns can trigger photosensitive epilepsy, taken from "this article":https://www.researchgate.net/blog/why-still-images-trigger-seizures.

If you are affected, you should add this tag to your blacklist in your "account settings":/settings as a precaution.

This tag should not be used merely because an image has bright colors that may cause strain to the eyes.
