(原图在p2!/The fullsize image is on Page2!)
[English ver.]
A long drone from a departing airship hums through the dawn light, a sound you can feel in your bones.
Here at Windshear, you learn a simple rule: never take your eyes off your food. The cliff gulls—aerial bandits forged in gale and salt spray—have a particular talent for teaching you that lesson the hard way.
I was halfway through my breakfast when a grey-white blur tore through the corner of my eye. It wasn't a dive; it was more like a calculated plunge, so fast all I registered was a gust of wind, sharp with the scent of the sea. Then, my sandwich felt impossibly light. All that remained were two slices of bread cradling a trembling smear of melted cheese. The prize itself, that single, perfectly seared slice of ham, was already ascending in a display of effortless grace, the trophy of a pint-sized thief.
It cocked its head, its obsidian eyes looking back at me in what could only be described as a silent, gloating boast.
"So, I guess this makes us friends?"
