“The River That Carries the Sunset”
There are winter sunsets you simply can’t forget.
When the sun has already slipped behind the horizon — completely gone —
yet the world suddenly ignites even brighter than in daylight.
The sky turns fiercely orange and red,
the fresh snow becomes deep, crisp blue,
and the contrast is so sharp it almost cuts the eye.
It’s the kind of moment when even someone who sees life in grey
suddenly notices how intensely bright the world can be.
I love catching these fleeting seconds —
when nature paints too boldly, and I just continue her line on the canvas.
