Acrylic , Gold leaf on canvas, 50 × 60 cm — “Horse”
I painted this piece over the course of a week.
Sometimes slowly — not because of the paint,
but because life inside asks for silence.
There are people who come into our lives
back in childhood and youth.
They weave themselves into us quietly —
through laughter, arguments, distance, and pauses.
With truly close ones,
you may not speak for a year or two.
You may drift apart in the rhythms of life.
But the connection does not disappear.
They don’t demand constant presence.
They simply are.
Sometimes a single phone call is enough
to remember:
you are not alone,
you are held by roots,
and you have somewhere to return —
even if you have been on the road for a long time.
This painting
is about such connections.
About those who are always near,
even when they are not visible.
About warmth that does not fade.
About life that becomes brighter
when you remember
who you are
and where you come from.
