Gullpenguins

Despite their round bodies covered in fluffy feathers with very little muscle mass, they are able to defy the laws of physics and fly surprisingly fast, glide, and gain height in the air.

Researchers believe their flight capabilities come from divine powers.

There have been reports of birds being able to fly around the room even with wings injured or fixed for treatment, suggesting the wings may be purely decorative.

They live near the sea, and their diet consists mainly of fish, but they also consume beans and popcorn.

They look adorable, but they are also quite timid, contrary to their depiction in the story.

They appear to be quite smart, able to remember people's faces.

They have their own means of communication and networking, becoming attached to people who feed them, and avoiding violent persons.

In Mirassol, they are regarded as a symbol of peace.

By the way, in this world doves and pigeons are closely associated with the pigeonfolk, so they don't enjoy good reputation.

King Gullpenguin

A very rare subspecies of gullpenguin. You should consider yourself lucky if you happen to be tackled by one.

...Just to add to the jynx, they are just as fluffy as regular gullpenguins, so even if you are tackled with enough strength to be blown away, you'll not get hurt.
