Afterword
Hello. This is the one known as Hirasaka Makoto.
So, this time's book was about Sakuya-san, for the first time in quite a while.
Back when I first got hooked on Touhou, I drew a lot of Sakuya-centric stories utterly swimming in wild headcanon, but ever since I moved on to focus more on the Three Fairies, it's actually been about 20 years since my last Sakuya book.
...I'm shocked myself that it really has been that long. (haha)
As for the story itself, it had Sakuya-san letting Meiling coddle her just a little bit.
These two have the same kind of braids and everything, and in general, it's hard not to imagine what kind of history they might have together. I've seen a lot of different stories about them for as long they've existed, but you might consider this my attempt at a take on those same themes.
By the way, just so we're clear, the thing about Sakuya's time stop powers depleting her stamina or energy is in no way official canon. (haha)
Anyhow. I've been thinking that I'd like to draw some more books starring the SDM cast, so if you're interested, I'd be happy if you decide to pick those up as well.
I hope we'll meet again over my next book.
