"Bishoujo" literally means "beautiful girl(s)", but this particular term is used almost exclusively to refer to characters in the style of Anime/Manga/etc. rather than 3d people.Flesh-colored girl picture book...Page 224"Otome wa Boku ni Koishiteru"
The Maidens are Falling in Love with Me
The title of an adult visual novel. It is interesting to note that this title is spelled with Kanji that differ from how this title is actually read (which is specified on the cover of the visual novel with furigana). In particular, "otome", which means only little girls, and thereby only implicitly has a meaning of maiden (i.e. a virgin), is spelled with the Kanji "処女" (Usually read "shojo"), which explicitly mean a female virgin. Furthermore, "boku", a first person singular pronoun (i.e. equivalent to the English "I" or "Me", although Japanese has multiple first person singular pronouns, each with different connotations) which has connotations of boyishness, is spelled with the Kanji "お姉さま" (usually read "oneesama"), which is a respectful term for "elder sister" (but can sometimes be used to address young women by children younger then them).Ecchi game guide to the chicks of "Pretty Cats"♪Boisterous game paradise "Let's" Series...Page 18"Magical Witch Academy- ~Magic Lesson with my Teacher~""The seven peerless little sisters of Sengoku""The way of financing with the body"An all-out feature on the latest game to come to our attention!!!"It's love ~Realtime Lovers~"...Page 8Debut in full color!!"The Cleaning Locker" by Sorimura Youji...Page 23
