Mhm.
The clouds part-
Mm, no.
The weather clears,
Breezes
comb the hair of the young willows... The first half of a poem by the historical Miyako no Yoshika, who supposedly composed it while traveling through Heian-Kyou's Rajoumon gate and admiring the springtime scenery. Translation retrieved from here
Snow-
The ice is melting, wavelets wash the whiskers-
-of the old bog moss. The other half of the poem, said to have been the work of the oni who lived in Rajoumon, often identified as Ibaraki-Douji. This is actually a slightly different version from the one in the previously-linked translation, with different phrasing, but it works out about the same, other than referring to the moss' 'hair' instead of 'beard.' This is incidentally also the version Kasen recites in Wild and Horned Hermit.
Tch!
Who goes there!?
*rustle*
*thump!*
