I draw Shydog so infrequently that sometimes I wonder how many of my newer followers are actually aware that Jacky is a shapeshifter.

The Cats Way story arc takes place at a time when she’s struggling with anxiety about shapeshifting, so mostly she just doesn’t do it. It’s quick and painless, but her other body is a TANK and she used it poorly when she was younger. Jacky’s fully in control, she just made some shitty teenager decisions.

Also, her clothes vanish into her cat’s eye when she transforms.
