Amihan, the Northeast Wind 🌬️

Amihan is captive to an arrangement made by the Elder Winds to prevent a calamity of great scale. She's bound to the far northeast ends of the world, betrothed to Buhawi, a tornado.

Although far from each other's reach, Amihan's heart is but already to the southwest wind, Habagat. Winds forbid they meet, so they exchange whispers through the air, hoping it blows towards each other.

A great tragedy, for even the world is a witness to this affair, an exchange of love letters of the northeast and southeast monsoons halfway through the year. A gift to most but a curse for two. Unfair trade for beings of trade winds.
