1998年発売の第1巻と2000年発売の第2巻表紙（第2巻は製品版とは異なる箇所があります）。
第1巻表紙のMS、スタジオにあったプラモを撮影して、その画像上に輪郭線を描き込んだもの。
省エネですね（手抜きとも言う)。

As for the mobile suit on the Volume 1 cover, it was made by taking a photo of a plastic model in the studio and tracing the outlines over the image.
An energy-saving method (some might call it cutting corners).
