Ugh, it's finally sort of kind of finished.
I had started this drawing months ago with ink on paper [link] and didn't get a chance to work on it for all these months oO;

I was carefully documenting my progress with this image, but I've ran out of hard drive space to do the captures. So sorry, but there isn't a capture of the last step from [link]
Nothing really amazing happened though.. I fixed her eyes and lips, cleaned up some coloring spots, and then made up the background using a photograph of stars and one very good photograph of a rose for the background. And then after everything was done, I adjusted the colors overall and added the text.
It says "pretty soldier shinku" haha

_o; The coloring is still a tiny bit messy, but it's really my fault for coloring sloppy in the first place. Coloring in the lines isn't my strong point.
