The blade is black, as if the moonless night was compressed into hardened steel. Made purely for slicing, it glints in the dark. It has no place on the sunlit battlefield; its only purpose is killing. The Damascus steel blade, imbued with the order's secret techniques, has drunk oceans of blood without ever rusting or dulling even after many years of use. This blade brings the night of death, wielded by one who has mastered the ultimate technique to vanquish any foe.

"There are countless ways to kill a man. Fixating on one is not just second-rate, but third-rate. Like those fairy tales spun by those who entrusted something to a blade," the boy said, as he felt the weight of the dark weapon in his hand.

"But...the wish imbued within it is genuine."
