--The weather clears, breezes caress the face of the cherry blossoms-- Probably modified from the first half of a poem by the historical Miyako no Yoshika, which goes "The weather clears, breezes comb the hair of the young willows." This translation of the poem is by Jonathan Chaves, retrieved from here. The second half of the poem was said to have been composed by Ibaraki-Douji, which is perhaps why only the first half has been used here.
