This commemorative day was set by the towns that have jointly declared the Celestial Maiden Summit, comprised of communities accross the country that have folklore tales that feature celestial maidens. The date was set based on the pun with the name.
The pun: celestial maiden is pronounced as tennyo. Tennyo: ten(10) + nyo (ni + yo, 2 4)Even if I allowed you to call me "Iku-san"...... could you please stop writing it in kana?
"Iku" is a way to say "to cum" in Japanese. This "iku" is technically the same word as 行く (usually, "to go"), but when it refers to cumming it's pretty much exclusively written in kana: either as いく or, very especially, as イク/イく. So, Iku's name written in kana has undeniable unfortunate implications. And I'm particularly forbidding you from dropping the honorifics
