Marisa's spirit has been broken.

Marisa's spirit has been broken.

Marisa was diligently training to become a magician.

She underwent a training rigorous and cruel enough to sicken her soul, making her rewatch a nightmare strong enough to destroy her body.

Marisa was tested with a trial everyone must face in order to become a magician. She was tested whether she can endure the nightmares.

However, Marisa couldn't bear it.

She said I appeared in her dreams.

Inside her dream, I laughed at her for being weak, repeatedly screaming words that drilled into her heart.

Nightmares are created within a person's own head.

Since people are self-aware of their own pitfalls and weaknesses...

...perhaps, nightmares are able to twist weaknesses in ways that will hurt them the most.

When Marisa's self-hatred and words of denial...

...were spoken borrowing my appearance, Marisa's heart was destroyed with ease.
