By the way, this book was actually planned to be a three-volume story separated to 「Kappa」, 「Mountain Deity」 and 「Mayohiga」.
I wanted to work with episodes about what happened between the human who accidentally entered Mayohiga and Chen, but I had to give up because of time constraints and page limits.
Still! It was nonsensical not to show Mayohiga while the title talks about Tohno. With that as an excuse, I made some unreasonable changes to show it. If I have the chance, I'd like to draw about Chen next.
As for Shizuha, she wasn't shown particularly because this was about Tohno Stories, but just because I wanted to draw her. I'm totally fallen for the Aki sisters nowadays, you see. I'm sad I couldn't draw a single cut of Minoriko though. Tsk!

As a side note, this book actually has some links with the 「Rain Under The Sleeping Moon of Realization」 (KEMONOMICHI, year 2010). I love mischiefs like this.
