若衆髷とは元服前の少年の髪型で前髪があるのが特徴（頭頂部の月代のみ剃っている)。男色趣味相手の若衆は元服の歳(十五歳くらい)になってもこの髷を結っていました。自分なりに調べて江戸若衆髷の遍歴図を描いてみる。
