ポケダンってある日ポケモンになっちゃった主人公と主人公を大好きなパートナーのお話だけど、やっぱりゲンガーとサーナイトってもう一つの主人公とパートナーのお話なんだなとしみじみ思う。エンディングの文章見てたらなおさら。

ゲンガーが昔パートナーだった事はサーナイトにはわからないだろうと言われてるけど、わからなくてもきっと心の奥底や深層心理のどこかには、または未来には必ず、千年のたたりを越えてパートナーとまた会うことができた喜びで涙してるサーナイトがいる筈だ！という絵です。 キラキラ＆英語入れたからか女児文具感が出てるけど許して。

救助隊DXでパートナーが「ゲンガーと サーナイト……2匹は これから……たくさん作っていけるよね。 新しい思い出を。ぜったい。」と言ってたし。もうお最高すぎる！！！
DXで追加されたこのセリフで、ゲンサーのこれからについて長年迷ってた心がすごく晴れた。ありがとうありがとうありがとう！

“Pokémon Mystery Dungeon” is a story about a protagonist who suddenly becomes a Pokémon one day, and their partner who loves them very much. But when I think about it, Gengar and Gardevoir’s story is really another tale of a protagonist and their partner. I feel that deeply, especially after reading the text in the ending.

It’s said that Gardevoir probably doesn’t know that Gengar was once her partner. But even if she doesn’t remember, I’m sure that somewhere deep within her heart, or in her subconscious, or maybe in the future beyond a thousand-year curse — there exists a Gardevoir who sheds tears of joy at being able to meet her partner again! That’s what this illustration is about.
It kind of ended up looking like cute little-girl stationery because I added sparkles and English text, but please forgive me.

In Rescue Team DX, the partner says:
“Gengar and Gardevoir... From now on, the two of you can make so many new memories together. Definitely.”

That line was just the best!!!
With that line added in DX, the uncertainty I’d had for years about Gengar and Gardevoir’s future completely disappeared.
