Hmmm...

--want to eat fried tofu Parts of this same phrase appear whenever the front of her dress is visible on this page. I guess Ran must be hungry.

If that's how it is...

If that's how it is...

...I'll pass along what you've said to the mountain youkai.

Your co-operation is appreciated.

So, then...

...where is this distortion?

It seems as though the source is somewhere in this lake.

The lake...?

Yes. There's always the concern that someone may have gotten caught up in it, but...

...there doesn't seem to be much to worry about in this case.

.... A friend of mine went into the lake a while ago... you don't think...

What happens when someone gets caught in one of these things?

Probably...

...I guess they'd just find themselves transported somewhere else entirely.

.... But she's all right, right?

I'll look into that right away.

Once I've found the distortion, it should be easy enough to follow its course and see what's on the other side.

I'm still a little concerned for my friend, so...

...is it alright if I tag along?

Mm.

I don't mind at all.

Although there's no positive proof that your friend was caught up...

...in either case, I'll repair the barrier after making sure she's okay. So there's no need to worry.

It'll all be set right soon. Just hold on a little while.
