It's true that the Ministry of Magic has been in an uproar since this morning...

Perhaps it would be best to quickly dispatch a scouting party to the Trig forest?

Isn't that a touch overdramatic? Does a single mouse warrant the upheaval of the entire household?

We'd be the laughingstock of the other nations.

With all due respect, I believe this mouse does.

I've heard reports of divination rituals indicating that a calamity rivaling the infamous Cheat Catastrophe will soon appear.

One misstep in our response could mean recreating the events of that legendary tragedy of five centuries ago.

The Cheat Catastrophe? Utter hogwash! Those fortune tellers always blow things out of proportion.

Even if another Cheat were to appear, it's been five hundred years since then.

Our modern magic techniques have advanced to the point that we can defeat even dragons!

I'm sure even the legendary catastrophe could be dealt with by us.

Either way, I'm of the mind that the first order of business should be to confirm for ourselves the cause of these disturbances.
