Shameimaru Aya has an idea.

Old-fashioned symbol

Since they're fellow canines, we should have Momiji-san get in close with that tube fox and keep an eye on her! Man, I knew my friends were useful for something!

I'll bite you to death, friend.

If she actually becomes a problem, the higher-ups will handle it.

And if she doesn't, we can just leave her be.

What, just a dog of the organization...

*PTEW*

Carrier pigeon of the organization says what?

Heartless mutt! You just watch!

Umm. Watch what, exactly?

*STORM OFF*

Witness the power of friendship! Tremble at night in fear of its terror!

Oooh. Right, right. Scaaary.

Some days later

The crow tengu told me you would like to be my friend! The pleasure's all mine!

Great to have you, friend— ♪

*SHAKE SHAKE*

SHAMEIMARU AYAAA—!!!

The scream of Momiji's soul reached all sorts of places.

And yet, it faded away, ignored. Such was the howl of the dog of the organization.
