Her health had been frail since she was very little,
and she spent most of her days stuck in bed.
Everything about her life was greatly restricted.
But she loved reading more than anything,
and so never had to worry about getting bored.
She read every book she could get her hands on, regardless of the field or level of difficulty...
But still, she was a child, and especially enjoyed fairy tales.
Some princess falls in love with some prince.
One of the most common types of story.
She found herself strongly drawn to the idea.
And so, eventually she took that longing
and by her own hand turned it into yet another of those "common stories".
*cough*
—Surely one day a prince on a white stallion
would appear and fall fiercely in love with her as well.
