Afterword Hello, I’m Chiikun and I love flowers! This time around, I’ve written something like an illustrated poem-slash-picture book about Kogasa. In an interview, she once said, “I try to imagine what humans might want so I can make myself into a tool they might want to use,” and we’ve since seen her try her hand at all kinds of work like being a babysitter or a blacksmith. That diligent, admirable side of hers really stands out to me about Kogasa. I hope I was able to show her being kind and just doing her best. That’s all. Thanks to everyone who picked up a copy of this book!
