[/tn]As a two-kanji compound, 結納 ([i]yuinou[/i]) means "an engagement gift", but when fleshed out as a verb with [i]okurigana[/i] like this, it becomes 結んで納める ([i]musunde osameru[/i]), "to finish/restore tying/bonding".
