It makes me quite emotional to think that it's been over 25 years since I worked on Guilty Gear X with Ishiwatari-san. A year into development, when I came into work on New Year's Day, Ishiwatari-san had caught a cold from sleeping on the floor. I carried him to the tiny old apartment I had rented by the company to use for naps. I look back fondly on the memory of looking after him for 2 days there. I wonder if the porridge I made for him was any good?
I could share stories like this forever, but in short, I want to congratulate Ishiwatari-san, the staff, and everyone involved on the release of Guilty Gear -Strive-.
